The popular idea is that the Goodwood Festival of Speed is a car show. It's true, and it happens. Yes, there are lots of cars on display around, and lots of parades that showcase motoring's finest.
But what's often forgotten is that the Goodwood Festival of Speed is a race! Yes, it's a hill-climb race that pits together, well, everything under the sun!
The 1.86km circuit is a 9-turn dash up a hill, and so long as it has four wheels and is in any way significant to motoring, chances are that you'll see it here.
