For the appreciator of old-school quality and ingenuity, here’s Goodwood’s line-up of classic cars this year.

'There's no school like old school', they say. And they were right. Goodwood's showcase this year of classic cars was a great reminder of how far along we've come in terms of designing and building cars.

Cars like McLaren's Formula 1 of the 70s and the Lancia Stratos send you right back to a time of pure unbridled speed with not much more than some wood for safety, is a testament to the bravery drivers back then had to conjure before going anywhere near racing speeds.
