BMW's M Division got off to a flying start. Founded in 1972, its 35-strong workforce fettled BMW's 200C/CS model, turning it into the now iconic 3.0 CSL. And so the M car was born. Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and with more than 20 cars under its Bavarian belt, here are the greatest M cars.
